AdventCircle Terms of Service

Effective date: 17 December 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AdventCircle's mobile application and website (together, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use AdventCircle. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Accounts and security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.
• You must not access or attempt to access another user's account without permission.

3. Community guidelines and acceptable use

AdventCircle is a faith-centered community platform. You agree not to:

• Post or share illegal content.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse others.
• Share content that promotes violence, hate, or discrimination.
• Share sexual content involving minors or exploitative content.
• Impersonate individuals or organizations.
• Upload malware, attempt hacking, or disrupt the platform.
• Use the Services for spam, scams, or fraudulent activity.

We may remove content and/or restrict accounts that violate these rules.

4. User content

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload ("User Content").

By posting or uploading User Content, you grant AdventCircle a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content as needed to operate the Services (for example: delivering your post to other users, showing it in feeds, and enabling sharing within the app).

5. Content moderation and enforcement

We may:

• Review, remove, or restrict access to content that violates these Terms or community standards.
• Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate rules or pose a safety risk.
• Investigate reported content or behavior.

We do not guarantee that all content will be reviewed immediately.

6. Reporting and safety

Users may report content or behavior through in-app reporting tools. We may use reports to investigate potential violations and to keep the community safe.

7. Messaging and communications

AdventCircle includes messaging features. You agree to use messaging respectfully and legally. We may review messages only when necessary for safety, moderation, legal compliance, or investigation of reported abuse.

8. Third-party services

The Services may rely on third-party providers (for example: authentication, hosting, media delivery, and email delivery). Your use of the Services may be subject to third-party terms and privacy practices as applicable.

9. Intellectual property

AdventCircle's branding, logos, design elements, and software are owned by AdventCircle or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the Services except as permitted by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use creates risk or harm.

11. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, AdventCircle is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Services.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the "Effective date".
