AdventCircle is a faith-centered social and communication platform designed for SDA communities, with features for posting content, messaging, and community engagement.

• Account information such as name, username/handle, email address, phone number (if provided), and password (stored securely in encrypted form by our authentication provider).
• Profile content such as your profile photo, bio, church-related information (if you choose to add it), and settings preferences.
• Content you create or upload, including posts, comments, messages, photos, and videos.
• Reports and support requests you submit, including messages sent to support.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the Services, we may collect:

• Device information (device type, operating system version, app version).
• Approximate location data (e.g., derived from IP address) for security and analytics.
• Log data (crash logs, performance logs, and diagnostic data).
• Usage data (features you use, interactions, and in-app events).

2.3 Information from third-party services

We use trusted third-party services to operate core features. These services may process limited data necessary to provide the Services (for example, authentication, hosting, analytics, media delivery, or email delivery).

We use your information to:

• Provide app functionality including posting, messaging, and community features.
• Deliver media content (photos/videos) reliably and securely.
• Send important service emails (such as verification codes and account-related notifications) from noreply@adventcircle.org.

We keep personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

When you delete content or close your account, some information may remain in backups or logs for a limited period for security and operational reasons.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure. Please use a strong password and keep your login details confidential.
